REDES SOCIALES, COMPETENCIAS TECNOLÓGICAS Y PRODUCCIÓN INTELECTUAL DE LOS POSGRADOS EN COMUNICACIÓN VENEZOLANOS
The purpose of this paper is to determine the use of social networks in the scientific activity of communication researchers in Venezuela. This study belongs to the project: Impact of technological competence in the intellectual output of the graduate degrees in Communication Venezuelans, funded by the Condes. In the knowledge society, social networks involve upgrading and technological change against historical contingency and the development of Information Technology and Communication (ICT). However, it is appropriate to determine what degree of social appropriation of these networks and their usage, frequency and benefits by communication researchers in Venezuela.
