This article shows the results of an experiment of air-dried of the Guadua angustifolia-bamboo species in round form, practiced to some samples of the species of the coffee region. The experiment was made under environmental conditions of specific temperature and relative humidity of the botanical garden of the Faculty of Environmental Sciences of the Technological University of Pereira Colombia. According to the experimental results different mathematical equations were tried to model the behaviour of the percentage of the moist content based on the time. With base of the correlation coefficient of R2 was proposed an exponential mathematical model. Finally appears 2 examples for to use the model and some recommendations for the practical handling of the dried of Guadua.
