en: The comparative analysis —from literary, historical and aesthetic perspectives— of two Latinoamerican publications gives an account of two different cases of Spanish republican exile and, therefore, two different outcomes of the same phenomenon: Futuro (México, 1933-1946), founded by Vicente Lombardo Toledano and Timón: síntesis de orientación político-social (Argentina, 1939-1940), publication directed by Diego Abad de Santillán. In this respect, the question which arises is that of the constitution of a poetics of exile, where the poetics is characterized by the discourse of action. In this context, the press is a discursive and creative oasis to enunciate, denounce and ‘do’ something against the imposed silence.>>>

en: The period in which Argentinean writer Ezequiel Martínez Estrada orients his work towards Latin-American scenery analysis and vectors that emerge from revolutionary Cuba at the end of 1950 is studied. It explores relationships essayist maintained with academics, intellectuals, politicians and publishers in Mexico. A highlight on his contributions to Cuadernos Americanos is made. His participations in intellectual circles and sociability networks, such as fce, unam and El Colegio de México, are analyzed to visualize his impact on openness to continental dimension.>>>
en: The objective of this article is to analyze the perspective from which Eliseo Altunaga, in its novel In the prison of the dreams (2002), reflect on the position of the “black” in the later years to the Revolution and in the present of the Special Period. My proposal is that, from a particular use of the dialectic of the master and the slave —idealistic and materialistic—, the author develops a scheme that he defines to a “conscious black”, in the sense of Frantz Fanon in Black Skin, White Masks.>>>
en: In this article it is critically analyzed a fundamental category from Enrique Dussel’s Philosophy of Liberation: fetishism. First, a genealogy of the concept is made, in which we specify some crucial differences between the semitic critique to idolatry, from the historical configuration of the mercantilistic discourse of the fetish during the european conquer of sub-saharian Africa. Then, we analyze the theoretical place of fetishism in Dussel’s reading of the work of Karl Marx. Here we distinguish three different analytical dimensions of the concept: the logical, the ontological and the ideological. Finally, we review the two dialectical moments of the anti-fetishism process proposed by Dussel.>>>

en: The goal of this paper focuses on an intersectional lecture around collective memory re-elaboration strategies and historical remembrance in the early Colonial urban visitas de doctrina and parishes of Santa Cruz Acatla (Mexico City) and San Cristobal Qolqanpata (Cusco). en: The purpose of this text is to situate the impasses of contemporary Peruvian politics under the perspective of recent history. In the 1980’s, the conjunction between economic crisis under García’s government (1985-1990) and the violence undertaken by Sendero Luminoso has contributed to the division and decline of the left, leaving the stage set for Fujimori´s regime (1990-2000). The following degradation of politics has resulted in a situation where no president has elected his sucessor, but at the same time, a national political alternative from a popular perspective has not emerged yet, which points to an impasse that makes explicit both the rejection to neoliberalism and the difficulties to overcome it.>>>

en: This article discusses the stages in which has been a development in the Colombian armed conflict from a theoretical perspective that establishes that a conflict has its own life cycle, where it reaches a peak and even violent, then decreases, disappears and in some cases reappears, according to the approach by José M. Tortosa, El largo camino. De la violencia a la paz. The conflict in Colombia has been developed in three stages: the initial, intermediate and final, with a few challenges inherent in each one of them.
